Terms of Service.
These are the rules for using acmeridian.co. We use the site as a shopfront, and these terms cover what you can and can't do here. Email us if anything needs clarifying.
Effective date: 11 May 2026 · Last updated: 11 May 2026
These terms govern your use of acmeridian.co. A&C Meridian is a Maryland LLC run by Stephen Alatriste and Michael Cortes. We build custom managed websites for small businesses and content creators. The site itself is our shopfront: what we do, what we charge, and how to start a conversation with us.
By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree with something here, the right move is to not use the site. Questions can go to michael@acmeridian.co any time.
What this site is
acmeridian.co is informational. It describes the work we do, shows examples, lists pricing, and gives you ways to reach us. Nothing on the site is a binding offer or a contract for services. An engagement with A&C Meridian begins only when we both sign a written scope of work.
Pricing on the site
Prices, packages, and add-ons listed on the site reflect what we currently charge new clients. We can change them at any time for new engagements. Once you've signed a scope with us, the prices in that scope are what govern your project, not whatever the site says later.
The site audit tool
Our audit tool sends URLs you submit to Google's PageSpeed Insights API and shows you the results. The tool is free and provided as-is. Results depend on Google's analysis, network conditions, and the site being audited. We make no guarantees about accuracy, completeness, or what action to take based on results. Only submit URLs you own or have written permission to test.
To report abuse of the audit tool, a security issue, or suspected unauthorized use of the site, email stephen@acmeridian.co.
How you can and can't use the site
You agree not to do any of the following, and not to let any other person or automated system do them on your behalf:
- Scrape, copy, or harvest the site or any of its contents using bots, crawlers, headless browsers, or any other automated tool, except for indexing by general-purpose search engines that follow our robots.txt.
- Submit URLs to the audit tool that you don't own or aren't permitted to test.
- Submit forms or audit requests at a rate or volume meant to overload, slow, or disrupt the site or the underlying third-party APIs we use.
- Probe, scan, or test our security; bypass any rate limit; or circumvent any technical protection.
- Submit malware, viruses, or anything else meant to damage the site or harm other users.
- Use the site to impersonate someone else, falsify identity, or submit fraudulent contact information.
- Submit content that infringes someone else's rights, is unlawful, or directs to unlawful material.
- Resell, sublicense, or republish our audit tool or its outputs as your own product.
If you break these rules, we can suspend your access without notice. Serious violations, especially anything affecting our site security or our third-party API quotas, can be pursued as breach of contract and, where applicable, under the federal Computer Fraud and Abuse Act.
Our work, your work
Everything on acmeridian.co (copy, design, code, photos, logos, the look of the site itself) belongs to A&C Meridian or to people we've licensed from. You can view it in your browser, share links, and quote reasonable excerpts. You cannot copy, republish, or build a derivative work from our site content without our written permission.
Anything you submit through our forms (the words in your message, your business name, your project details) stays yours. We use it only to reply to you and, if we work together, to run your project. We don't claim ownership of what you send us.
Third-party links
The site may link to other websites: examples of our work, tools we recommend, articles worth reading. Those sites are run by other people. We don't control them and don't vouch for what's on them. Visiting them is your call.
No warranties
We provide the site as-is and as-available. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always accurate. The audit tool gives best-effort results from Google's API, not a professional audit. To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limit on liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, A&C Meridian's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the site, whether in contract, tort, or any other theory, will not exceed the greater of (i) five hundred U.S. dollars ($500) or (ii) the total fees you paid us under a signed engagement in the twelve months before the claim arose. We will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data, even if we were warned they were possible.
This cap does not apply to: our indemnification obligations under a signed engagement; breach of confidentiality; infringement of your intellectual property by us; gross negligence, willful misconduct, or fraud; liability that cannot be limited under applicable law; or fees you owe us for services performed.
Indemnification
If your use of the site causes us to face a claim from someone else (for example, you submitted URLs you weren't authorized to test, or you used our site in a way that violated these terms or the law), you agree to cover our reasonable legal costs and any damages awarded.
Ending things
You can stop using the site any time. We can update or shut down the site, or change these terms, at any time. For changes that materially affect your rights, we'll post the updated terms at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after the new effective date means you accept the updated terms.
Which law governs and where disputes go
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the site will be brought exclusively in the state courts of Anne Arundel County, Maryland, or in the United States District Court for the District of Maryland. You and we both agree to that jurisdiction and waive any objection to it, including any objection based on inconvenience. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial.
If you're a consumer in a state whose law gives you the right to bring a small-claims action where you live, nothing here takes that away from you.
Severability
If any part of these terms is found unenforceable by a court, the rest still applies. The unenforceable part will be limited or removed only to the smallest extent necessary, and the remainder of the terms stays in effect.
Whole agreement
These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, are the whole agreement between you and A&C Meridian for your use of the site. If we sign a separate scope of work with you for a project, that scope governs the project itself; these terms still govern your general use of the site.
